Where it all begins......
Jason was born in Kimba, South Australia to Peter and Pat in December 1977, he was almost 5 when Emma was born in Brisbane to Peter and Allison in 1982. Jason and his family moved to Queensland when he was young, living in Stafford, Gympie and then the Sunshine Coast. He moved down to Brisbane on his own in his mid 20's, where he has been ever since! Emma grew up in Brisbane, but also spent some time in Canberra and Cairns before her and her family moved back to Brisbane for good.
We met sometime mid 2004, when we were introduced by mutual friends. We actually knew alot of the same people, its a wonder why we hadn't met earlier! We became good friends, then in December of the same year, we became a couple!
J was living in Taringa with two good friends, Matto and Sonya, while Emma still lived with her parents at Eatons Hill. With Emma spending most nights of the week at Jason's house, it was only a matter of time before we moved in together in Bardon.
We lived in Bardon for just over a year before moving into a small one bedroom apartment in the city. The apartment was the perfect size for a couple who rarely got on eachother's nerves! Now, we live in a little house in Lutwyche.
Jason asked Emma to marry him on September 29th 2008 at the 'Brisbane Wheel' at Southbank, to which she ofcourse said "YES"!
The wedding plans were underway and a rough date set for May 2010, when there was an unexpected suprise....Emma was pregnant! She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in July 2009 named Cooper Allisandra Kelly. Her arrival pushed the wedding plans back into May 2011.
